BRG is pleased to offer part four of this fresh-to-the-market estate art collection filled with fine works of art from all over the world. This collection hails from the estate of Harry Laurie, lifelong collector of art. Part IV features an assortment of prints, serigraphs, lithographs, and art including works from (among others):
— Aubrey Williams (Guyanese, 1926-1990)
— Karl Wirsum (American, 1939-2021)
— Andy Warhol (American, 1928-1987)
ABOUT HARRY LAURIE
Harry Laurie, retired UPS employee-turned-neighborhood “Santa Claus” of sorts often surprised friends and neighbors with carefully selected gifts tailored to their interests — be it a book, music CD, or movie DVD — delivered straight to their doorstep.
His passion for the arts knew no bounds, boasting a diverse collection of paintings ranging from contemporary abstracts to more traditional pieces, alongside treasures from local artists throughout the world. A true art connoisseur, Harry's adventures took him across Europe's finest museums and local art scenes, embracing his inner "hippy without the drugs" along the way.
