The estate of Alexander Dube is offered at BRG's Greenwich location. A professional dancer, turned agent, turned advocate, Alex Dube served the community from which he began his career as a young man. After studying tap, classical ballet and modern dance, he went on to create the first agency solely dedicated to representing dancers, Dube Zakin Management, Inc. His clients included dancers from around the world.
In 1985, Alex joined the American Guild of Musical Artists and also served on the board of directors of Career Transition For Dancers, the first American organization addressing the needs of dancers facing the early aging-out of their careers. In 2001, Alex was appointed Executive Director of CTFD and soon after the organization's President. In 2015, Alex assisted with integrating CTFD into The Actors Fund and continued to serve as an advisor.
"To my great surprise and delight, over the course of my career, I've never needed a resume, having always had the good fortune of being the recipient of wonderful opportunities, always serving dancers and dance." -AD
