In partnership with a fundraiser sponsored by Rockland Center for the Arts (RoCA), BRG is pleased to offer this fun collection of items, experiences, and services donated by local businesses and members of RoCA. Proceeds directly benefit RoCA's exhibitions, scholarship opportunities and free outreach programs for the community.
Historic, versatile and dedicated to its mission of making the arts accessible to all, RoCA is a comprehensive multi-arts center situated on five-acres of woodland in West Nyack, NY. Founded in 1947 by some of the most renowned American artists, including Helen Hayes, Henry Varnum Poor, Maxwell Anderson and Maurice Heaton, RoCA has continued to fulfill its founders' vision of drawing on the wealth of creative talent found in Rockland County and the Hudson Valley region.
RoCA features contemporary art exhibitions in three galleries, a School for the Arts and Summer Arts Day Camp with instruction by accomplished teaching artists. RoCA is also host to The Catherine Konner Sculpture Park, populated by outdoor sculptures and mixed-media works by today's leading artists. Exhibitions and The Catherine Konner Sculpture Park are open to the public and always free of charge. As ever a perfect place to enrich the creative soul of Rockland: RoCA is it.
* PLEASE NOTE: 100% of the hammer price directly benefits RoCA. Additionally, BRG is not collecting the standard 18% buyers premium. Rather BRG will charge a 3% buyers premium to defray costs associated with credit card processing fees. *
**Shipping and handling may be arranged through RoCA. Additional fees will apply and must be paid separately through RoCA.**
*** There are no BRG warehouse transport options for the lots in this sale. All tangible items must be picked-up at RoCA on the designated pick-up days (or arrangements for shipping directly through RoCA), while experiences and events must be coordinated directly through RoCA and/or the lot's donor. Winning bidders will be contacted directly by RoCA between May 3rd and May 4th to schedule pick-up appointments.***
