BRG is happy to present an online auction this fine collection of gemstones, finished jewelry, and artifacts that reflect the years of idiosyncratic searching and style of a favorite instructor at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts school (MFA), called a “precious-metalworking guru” by his students.
Some pieces are clearly instructional, informational or utilitarian - intended to be used in teaching the art of fine jewelry-making, others unique, finished creations. And then there are the stones he sought out worldwide, for their sheer beauty and brilliance. Most are cut, polished and faceted, but many are in their natural, raw state.
Whatever your heart, soul, and eye yearn for, you’re sure to find it here. Explore the personal legacy of this master teacher, and enjoy a colorful journey through the prism of his fine eye.
Please note:
— USPS shipping option available.
— All lots have been verified by Raman testing https://rruff.info/about/about_general.php for authenticity. Please read catalog details in descriptions. The Database "The RRUFF™ Project is creating a complete set of high-quality spectral data from well-characterized minerals and is developing the technology to share this information with the world. Our collected data provides a standard for mineralogists, geoscientists, geologists, and the general public for the identification of minerals both on earth and for planetary exploration.
— All Massachusetts CO-VID regulations will be enforced.
