Black Rock Galleries is currently seeking items of distinction (quality, luxury, and high-end consignments) for inclusion in our online auctions throughout the country.

What types of consignments will BRG accept?

BRG seeks a variety of quality pieces ranging from fine antiques and furniture to luxury level designer accessories and exquisite jewelry. Some examples include:

Please inquire if your item is not listed in the examples above. We also accept a variety of other consignments for our specialized auctions and multi-estate auctions offerings. Our estate acquisitions team will be pleased to assist you with your questions.

Does BRG accept in-person consignment submissions & where?

In short, yes. Most of our locations hold "open consignment days" (typically on Wednesday) where interested consignors may bring their item / collection to a BRG location for consignment and/or evaluation. No appointment is necessary, however, we do recommend that prospective consignors call ahead of time to confirm that staff is on property to accept your consigments.

How Consignments Work:

Visit us or send us images of your exceptional item or collection along with a brief a description and we will let you know if your piece(s) are best suited for our exceptional sale or one of our other online auctions. If your item is accepted as an article of distinctive quality, a BRG specialist will discuss the timing, fees/commission structure. The same holds true with other consignments. BRG will always provide a consignment agreement to ensure the successful sale of your item/collection.

What are the terms and/or fees for consigning with BRG?

Upon review of your consignment submission, one of BRG's estates and acquisitions specialists will discuss the terms and conditions for accepting your consignment. If your item or collection is suitable for one of our exceptional auctions (or a different auction), our team will discuss the fee structure at that time. All terms for consignments will be clearly outlined in the consignor agreement.

Initial Agreement
All our consignors receive a no-pressure, easy-to-follow, and comprehensive consignment agreement which outlines all the details around the consignment of their personal property.

Consignor Dashboard
BRG provides all our consignors with their individual consignor dashboard where they may track the status of their consignments at anytime -- from initial inventorying and photography to current and final sale price.

Cataloging
The BRG team ensures that items are properly inventoried, cataloged, and photographed so that our extensive bidder base may bid with confidence.

Final Payment
In addition to being able to follow their consignments through their dashboard, BRG provides our consignors with a comprehensive accounting of their consignments and sales prices with their respective consignment checks. Consignment checks are mailed within 45 days of the close of the sale -- often times sooner, depending on when the sale closed within the billing cycle.
