ABOUT DIANA KLEMIN
Diana Klemin graduated from Vassar College in 1944. She furthered her studies at the Art Students League, the New School for Social Research, and the Museum of Modern Art. Klemin began her career at G. P. Putnam's Sons before moving to Doubleday & Company, Inc., where she worked as a book designer and was promoted to Art Director in 1953, a position she held until 1987. Klemin is recognized as a noteworthy Art Director by Marquis Who's Who.
Throughout her career, Klemin visited numerous museums and sorted through thousands of submissions from graphic artists to find illustrations and book jacket art.
