Decades ago, Baron Joël Allen established his first East Coast based interior and architectural design company. Working alongside the late Baron Peter von der Geest, their client roster included jet-setters, celebrities, and prominent American families such as the Bienstocks (of Chappell Music and Atlantic Records fame), legendary song-writing team Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, Dina Merrill (daughter of E.F. Hutton and Marjorie Merriweather Post), the Vanderbilts, and the Rockefellers.
Over the course of his extensive career, Baron Joël Allen acquired an amazing collection of MCM, vintage, and antique furniture, impressive Chinese blue and white porcelains, and fine art (including several of his own works). Now the public has a rare opportunity to enjoy his curated collection as much as he has over the years and as much as BRG is pleased to offer these items in this online auction — which is rounded-out by fine crystal and china, sterling silver, vintage decorative arts, and more. Happy bidding.
(Please note: All items have been carefully transported to Greenwich, CT for easy pick-up.)
