BRG is pleased to offer our Greenwich Fall 2021 Exceptional (Day One) sale which features an impressive selection of fine art, decorative arts, and jewelry.
Several Mexican artists top the list and include:
• a Gustavo Montoya (Mexican 1905-2003) oil on canvas of a girl in a yellow dress,
• a David Alfaro Siqueiros (1896-1974) acrylic on board, study of a sleeping figure,
• a Diego Rivera (1886-1957) watercolor of a man carrying a basket on his back, and
• a Francisco Zuniga (Mexico, 1912-1998) cast bronze, "Maternidad," a mother nursing her baby.
Other fine artists represented in Day One include:
• Henry Stull (Am., 1851-1913) with two gorgeous oil on canvases depicting majestic horses, both with Christies provenance,
• eight stunning Antonio Jacobsen (American, 1850-1921) nautical ship paintings hailing from a single owner's collection, some with Christie's provenance, and
