Black Rock Galleries is pleased to offer the curated estate of a mother and daughter collecting duo, originally from Savannah, Georgia who later relocated to the Old Irving Park neighborhood in Greensboro, North Carolina. Many of the pieces offered in this sale were acquired through a close personal friend of the family, famed North Carolina designer Otto Zenke, or were purchased from the infamous Byerly’s Antiques in Greensboro during one of their many buying adventures.
Offered in this sale is a lovely collection of antique English furniture, rare books, artwork, decorative arts, and a collection of signed photographs from Hollywood Golden Age royalty including Elizabeth Taylor, Bob Hope, Bing Crosby, Esther Williams -- obtained by the consignor's grandfather during World War II and more! Happy bidding!
