Item Description
A naturalistically depicted image of a quaint harbor scene with a building with tiled roof in the background with a dock and a small stone break wall in the foreground. The water is as flat and calm as glass, with only minute rippling magnificently depicted. There are two small row / sail boats tied up to the dock. The scene is devoid of figures but their presence looms over the work with all the signs of wear and use to the home, docks and boats appearing as if recently used.
Signed in pencil to the lower right corner and numbered 151 / 175 to the lower left.
