Item Description
This pair of French, Samson porcelain pheasants, decorated with famille rose enamels in the style of Chinese Export porcelain. The pair of pheasants are seen perched with yellow and black talons on a brown glazed rockery which has pierced firing holes. The pheasants are perched using their expressively decorated 4 claw talons. The pheasants tails connect to the rockery decorated bases just below the point where the talons are perched. The pheasants with a red hued body and crest with wonderfully polychromed wings and tail.

Condition: There is some wear and losses to the gilt and polychromed finish. There are four pads under the base to protect the birds and wherever placed.
