Item Description
Weller Pottery woodcraft ceramic decorative planters - Set of 3, date early 1920s-30s: includes log shaped planter that features a division and is raised on 4 feet, adorned with turning leaves; floral motif basket vase with square handle; bud vase decorated as a tree. Lovely muted glaze neutrals, naturalistic details replicated on the ceramics surface like the quality of wood grain and leaves veins. All stamped with the Weller trademark on bottom.
Weller Pottery: Founded by Samuel A. Weller in Fultonham, Ohio in 1872. Originally, his business consisted of a small cabin and one beehive kiln, and Weller produced flower pots, bowls, crocks, and vases. By 1905, Weller Pottery was the largest pottery in the country.
Condition: In overall good condition with expected signs of age and use. Hairlining throughout the interior and exteriors but overall well intact and lovely finish.
