19 total pieces included in the following porcelain lot of mostly “The Botanic Garden” designed by Susan Williams-Ellis for Pontmerion. Includes additional pieces that compliment the collection well. Overall presented ceramic & porcelain set decorated with a floral motif throughout. Marked on underside.
The lot includes the following
Pontmeirioin ‘The Botanic Garden” [14] pieces:
(1) tea pot with lid, featuring the Spanish Gum Cistus on one side & Trailing Bindweed on the other.
(4) drum flat mugs, in four different styles.
(4) saucers
(2) custard molds
(1) clam shell trinket dish
(1) jam jar (without lid)
(1) creamer with lid
Extra pieces [5]:
(1) Ceralene A. Raynaud Limoges No. 5 petite flower shaped trinket dish with insects and birds.
(1) Vintage Japan covered tureen with lid decorated with a fruit and floral motif, double handles.
(1) Oval shaped matching dish to Japan covered tureen. One minor chip to lid, some print wear. No ladle.
(1) Porcelain covered tureen with blue floral motif and gold accents bearing the mark of KPM on underside.
(1) Spoon ladle to (accompany porcelain tureen)
Condition: In overall good condition with expected signs of age and wear including minor wear and use including crazing particularly to tea pot. Minor flakes of finish and surface scratches. Generally well preserved.
