Item Description
A vintage mahogany breakfront cabinet, circa 1940's, in lovely form and presenting a rich mahogany exterior throughout. Showcasing a top hutch lined with intricately carved trim, featuring four hinged glass front swinging doors affixed with trim work, which open to reveal an abundance of additional shelving areas. The middle section features later added glass shelves, but the original shelves are accompanied with the piece, and can be switched out if desired. The hutch is mounted above a secondary rectangular base consisting of two hinged doors with shelving units within, as well as six total drawers, four long and two short, all affixed with brass bail handles to provide for a lovely display. Accompanied with skeleton keys and original shelving.
Condition: Overall in good condition with expected signs of use given its age, including evidence of surface scratches, residue marks, scuffs, wear, as well as some minor areas of loss seen along the top hutch trim work and along the molding of the secondary base. Wear is consistent with age and use.
