Vintage, decorative collection of assorted painted ceramic items. Including:
- An Orientalist style figural sculpture depicting an Orientalist style figure seen seated with legs crossed on a pillow with decorative tassels. The figure is wearing a turban while holding an oval bowl with pierced lid / frog for flowers to be inserted. 8 1/4 x 5 1/2 x 4 3/4”D.
- A bottle vase with decorative landscape reserve in gilt finished border on a pink hued ground. 4 3/4”H
- Herend Hungarian moulded and paint finished asparagus form box and cover. As Is due to it's nicely repaired lid. 5 1/2”L x 3”W
- A Dresden scalloped and polychrome and gilt finished cup with saucer. The bowl marked dish with foliate sprays and a scalloped and gilt finished dish. 4 3/4”D - cup; 1 1/2”H x 3 3/4”D - saucer dish.
- A lovely tripod form two handled lidded foliate decorated sugar bowl with cover. Fabulous openwork vine form handles and a pear form finial. 4 1/4”H x 4”W
Condition: Wear to the paint finish on several items with a break and old repair to the hand of the figural pieces. The Herend asparagus box is listed AS IS due to its repaired lid. The lid is well repaired and barely visible from above but does have restoration to the underside where cracks are evident with well done repair. Other gentle wear commensurate with age and use.
