Andō Tokutarō "Utagawa Hiroshige" (Japanese, 1797-1858) "Revenge of the Soga Brothers" woodblock print from the series "Soga Monogatari Zu" depicting two figures in vibrantly patterend blue and pink attire along a grassy field. One figure points up the hill towards a group of warriors, while the other lifts his hat. A mountain in the background is swirled with pink clouds, the largest of which contains script writing. A label affixed to the back of the frame provides additional information. Signed along the right. Displayed behind glass with a mauve-brown mat in a black and gilt faux bamboo frame.
Condition: Displays well with minor wear to frame.
