The canvas cases come in green and tan hues and close with tapes; the green case has an attached paper label that reads "By Appointment to the late King George V., HRH The Prince of Wales 1931-1936" and includes care instructions for the rods from the manufacturer Hardy Bros. (Alnwick) Ltd in Alnwick England. The canvas case also has a fabric patch sewn on, repeating the appointment message and bearing the Hardys logo.
Condition: In overall good condition with signs of wear commensurate with age and good use; fading and discoloration, minor surface marks.
