Item Description
Two Herend Hungary hand-painted porcelain floral baskets. These miniature baskets are lavishly adorned with individually hand-modeled and painted porcelain flowers, each petal and leaf sculpted to capture the realism of natural blooms.
The larger basket (model 9015/C) features a reticulated latticework body with a pink and gold crisscross pattern, highlighted by green vine handles and a stunning bouquet of roses, dahlias, and morning glories in vibrant shades of yellow, lavender, cobalt blue, and coral.
The smaller basket (model 9017-0001C) is a charming double-handled floral arrangement, equally rich in color and form.
Each piece bears the Herend Hungary blue shield hallmark with crossed paintbrushes and HANDPAINTED mark, denoting authenticity and traditional handcrafting. Additional impressed form numbers, painter’s marks, and codes.
DImensions: 2 1/2" H x 3" L x 2 1/4" D, oval basket
Condition: Excellent condition overall with no significant chips or repairs. A few tiny edge petals show minute wear consistent with age and delicate craftsmanship, typical for Herend floral arrangements. The colors remain vivid and lustrous, and the gilt details bright and intact. Undersides are clean and well-marked.
