Item Description
Including a russet Jade ‘Bi’ disc. The circular form with central aperture is decorated similarly to the way Bronze mirrors from the Tang Dynasty were decorated with the exception of the Bronze mirrors were highly polished on one side to reflect with decorative themes similar to the ones that can be found in both sides of this Bi. Raised bosses carved in relief to one side and fabulous pair of chi long dragons swirling around the central aperture to the other.
2 1/4”Diam.
The second Jade pendant is white / celadon with russet highlights. The flattened form is carved with decoration to one side featuring a double headed, stylized dragon in top and a nicely carved Tao Tie motif to the underneath.
