Two 19th century George Washington collectibles. Including a centennial iron ax wall hanging with a pierced blade displaying the profile of America's first president wit the grip reading "Washington Inaugurated President of the US April 30, 1789." Circa 1889. Retaining most of it's original painted finish. 12 1/4" l. x 5 1/2" w. Also included is a framed colored engraving of Washington mounted in a period gilt frame with a reverse black painted mat. Foxing and evidence of past moisture exposure. Overall 11 1/4" h. x 9 1/4" w.
