An impressive and tall painted Maitland Smith folding screen, with three fabulous panels displaying in subdued chartreuse; beautifully decorated with hand painted flourishes and scrolls accenting Neoclassical imagery including winged griffins, vases, and sculpted human figures. The panels come in simple rectangular form with a raised gilt frame. Marked verso.
Condition: Displays well with light surface scratches and scuffs. Scattered discoloration and wear to gilt frame.
