Set Of Two Gilt Framed H. Macklin 19th Century English Colored Engravings
Both published by H. Macklin London 1803. One labeled "Shepards Reposing" after a painting by G. Morland featuring two shepherd and their dogs resting under the trees. The flocks are in the meadow in the distance.
The second one is "The Weary Sportsman" after a G. Morland painting with the sportsman resting with his three dogs. The rabbit kill is at his side.
Each is presented beautifully matted in green silk in very fine carved and ribbed frames with palmettes in the corners.
