Item Description
The National Cash Register Company Model 522-E, manufactured between 1909-1915. Serial Number S-239472K. First electrified model. Beautifully constructed antique brass cash register having a case garnished with scrolled floral and foliate relief decorations throughout. Various original keys and levers as well as manufacturer's plates on front and back. Unit rests above oak register drawer that opens to reveal currency slots. With a receipt printer affixed to top.
Expected signs of use including some breaks to glass covers (refer to photographs), back cover detached but included, later wiring. Unknown working condition and untested. Evidence of past alterations and repairs.
