An exquisite expanding dining room suite with a dining table, 8 side chairs and 2 arm chairs, 2 leaves.
The dining table a masterpiece of marquetry with intricate scrolls, geometric motifs, cross banding with specimen woods in a distressed finish. The table is raised on twisted and turned legs conjoined with a scrolling wrought iron cross stretcher. The table comes with two leaves 15 3/4" W each that fit into the end panels of the table.
Dimensions: 47 1/2" W, 93 3/4" L (with no leaves) and 29 1/2" H - approximately 125" L with leaves.
The glorious table is accompanied by 8 side chairs and 2 arm chairs in their Claudio style. The chairs with raised panel back-splat with peek-a-boo opening, conjoined reverse C-stretchers, beautifully upholstered seats with piping.

Arm chairs - 27" W, 26" D, 19 1/2" seat height, 45" H
Side chairs - 22" W, 23 1/2" D, 45" H and 19 1/2" seat height
Condition: the suite was purchased in 2008 for $18,495 from Lisa Davenport's Home Gallery and looks nearly new.
There is a negligible mar here and there, minor dings to feet. The chairs are solid and heavy, built to last.
