Item Description
A stunningly large barbotine majolica ceramic figure of a lady, wearing a white puffed sleeve shirt under a pink bodice decorated by gilt coins and overlaid by a white fringed shawl, with a blue skirt and pink floral apron. She dons a green hat and wears two long braids, facing away with one hand out defensively while the other lifts at her apron. She wears a gilt floral necklace with gilt circle earrings, and daintily flares her hand out to display a gilt pinky ring with brilliant red stone. Signed inside the of the base with the initial H.
Condition: Displays well with minor scattered discoloration. Evidence of past repair to pinky with losses to ring band. A small chip on one of her eyelids and small losses on the brim of her hat. A long hairline crack on the interior of the base that is not visible otherwise.
