Item Description
Ilana Goor is an internationally recognized multidisciplinary artist working in many different media. Her wide ranging works embrace sculpture, furniture and jewelry. A world traveler, Ms. Goor also curates and manages her own Art Museum, located in Israel. A solid bronze patinated Demi-Lune Console and Wall Mirror whose design and execution are faithful to the designs of the Iconic Swiss sculptor and furniture creator Diego Giacometti. The proportions of both pieces is exquisite and the patination is extremely well done, the coloration being in the blacks and oxidized copper green. The Demi Lune has three perching birds on the base rods and classic Giacometti type splat feet. The half inch thick glass with Arris edges on both the top and bottom.
The accompanying Mirror features one large bird perched at the top and four splat “pegs” around the frame. Both pieces are in impeccable condition.
The Demi-Lune measures 51.5” wide by 13.25” deep by 31” high.
The Mirror measures 42.5” wide by 51.75” high by 4” deep.
