This fun and wildly imaginative kinetic sculpture, titled "Motorized Duck" was constructed in 1989 by Steve Gerberich. The duck is fabricated from recycled components including a metallic propeller as a rudder, short cabriole table legs with brass toe caps for wings and a pair of skateboard wheels for feet.
The kinetic sculpture is mounted with a ring to hang but when the the propeller blades are spun the duck sure looks like it's about to take flight!

Condition: The motor was untested at time of inspection and there is wear and losses to the wooden figure and finish but sculpturally speaking the duck is wildly imaginative and sure to be a crowd pleaser.
