Item Description
A pair of Steve Crandell (American, 20th Century) prints, including "T.P Emigh 1919" and "Ship 'Thalassa' Seattle 1904." The prints display in subtle monochrome, with brown and purple undertones.
"Ship 'Thalassa' Seattle 1904" features an on-deck view, with a dramatic perspective accented by a leaning figure at the right. The rigging outlines the triangular form of the boat, with a cityscape seen on the horizon of the background. "T.P Emigh 1919" features a dockside view of the white vessel, with impressive rigging texturing the sky.
Both prints display behind glass with black and tan mats in a simple red wood veneered and black lacquered frame. Titled lower right, labeled "Restored & Printed by & From The S. Crandell Collecion" and signed in metallic ink just above.
Condition: Prints display well with scratches and minor finish wear to the frames.
