Stunning mid century 20th century modern Rosewood dining table in pristine condition with a total of eight chairs, including six side chairs and two end arm chairs. All chairs fitted with a well maintained black leather cushions.
The dining table stands on four sculpted and tapered legs. There are two removable leaves which allow the table to be transformed from a circular formed table into a longer, full length oval dining table. These two extensions are inserted into the central portion of the table and when added there is a hinged fifth leg that can drop down for added support.
Like the dining table itself, the black leather upholstered rosewood chairs are sculpted from solid rosewood.
The wonderful grain and finish of the rosewood dining set is stunning and certain to transform any room it is placed into.
Tag underneath denote the table as being "Faarup Mobelfabrik / Made in Denmark"
Tag underneath one of the chairs is stamped "Made in Denmark"

Each extension leaf is roughly 19.5"L, while the end sections are roughly 23.5"L

Condition: The dining table and chairs are in impeccable condition with only very minor surface scuffs and scratches commensurate with age and use. There is a table cover which protects the table when it full length and has certainly helped to maintain its condition.
There is a split / crack to one of the arms of one of the arm chairs which can be seen in the photographs and was restored to structurally support. It could be further restored if so desired.
Overall the dining set is simply incredible.
