A colorful a black and pink fishing lure is shown on a blue and green mottled ground. The paper is tacked to blue backing and presented framed in wood with plexiglass.
Notably, Rupert Jasen Smith worked closely with Andy Warhol as a silkscreen printer. Additionally, Smith is known to have collaborated with important 20th C. artists including Robert Rauschenberg along with Frank Stella.
