A nicely rendered reproduction oil painting on canvas after Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot (French, 1796-1875) "The Leaning Tree Trunk" depicting three figures in a natural landscape with two bare trees sporting winding, leaning forms. Two figures are seen between the trees, near a tree in the mid-ground with autumnal foliage. The third figure is seen to the left, at the edge of a fountain. The landscape opens up to the left overlooking a view of a lake surrounded by gently rolling mountains under a clear, pale sky. Signed Tasti lower right.
Displayed in a magnificent gilt gesso and wood frame carved with foliate vines and flourished relief around the edges.

Condition
