Item Description
A fabulous painting in mixed media on paper, depicting an urban landscape with tall buildings as well as lower lying buildings along the street level which is being traversed by numerous figures.
A building with a sign stating "BAR CAFE", can be seen to the lower right with figures seated at a bistro style dining table and chairs just outside the front door with a building bearing a sign denoting it as a Hotel with arched windows in the center.
Signed somewhat indistinctly to the lower right and dated '43.
Sight: 19 1/4"h x 25"w
Frame: 25 1/8"h x 30 1/2"w
Condition: There is some wear to the painting and some stain spots to the mat around but could easily be re matted and framed if desired. Overall in good form and presents nicely.
