A fabulous mid-century bronze work by French metalwork company named Curtis Jere. The name was created when the founding artists named Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels, combined their names and created a signature after founding the firm in 1963.
The current work wonderfully depicts a boy ringing a bell which is elevated via the bronze rope the boy can be seen pulling. The work is mounted onto a paint finished wooden base.

Condition
There is some wear to the gilt finished bronze patina along with some areas with oxidation. The end of the rope where meets the bell is seemingly not as strong as could be and may have been bent or displays wear. Despite, the sculpture is fantastic.
