Item Description
One being long with a three spoke handle where the central band is decorated in the form of a chain link and the handle being fashioned from wrought iron wound around the three spokes to secure the handle and add a lovely decorative flair. The basket is further embellished with each of its vertical chain rope cast vertical support rods which connect the foot with the mouth of the basket issue forth from the top of the basked and coil over outwards for a fantastic decorative appearance. A green ribbon has been strung through and tied off in a bow for presentation.

Together with a tripod basket. With three rope form cast legs that rise to the circular form openwork basket decorated with fabulous heart form wall motifs. The handle, like the other basket in the lot, is formed from three wrought iron bands brought together with decorative coiling around all three at the center top for enhanced structural integrity.

Condition: Both show signs of age and wear with oxidized patina but are in good overall form with slight bends and misshapen areas that do not detract from the decorative beauty of these vintage baskets.
