A fantastic set of six antique Federal dining side chairs, ca. 1810. The chairs are finely crafted in beautiful medium brown mahogany, showcasing gently curved rectangular top rails over three distinguished tapered splats with nicely reeded posts and bottom rails echoing the design of tapered legs. The seats come in gray-blue or brown with wonderful needlepoint designs of floral wreaths.

Condition
Dog bite marks to one stretcher on one chair with wear to the frames commensurate with age and use. Some seats are heavily sunned with additional tears to the trim and needlepoint upholstered seats.
