A fabulous set of four Louis XIII style dining chairs beautifully designed with tall camel backs and nicely plumped seats upholstered in flaxen white fabric with statement oversized brass nailhead trims. Chairs are supported by solid fruitwood frames in appealing honeyed brown hues, well carved with mutton legs and shapely H-stretchers with additional rails along the fronts.
Condition
Some chairs with marks to the back slide of the upholstery, one with ink marks from a pen to the upholstered seat back verso as well as another with with further blemishes to the reverse upholstered seat back as well. Despite wear, which may be able to be spot cleaned or are great frames at the minimum do in face present well with some age and use. Overall a handsome set.
