Item Description
Each chair features four exquisitely carved, tapered and fluted front legs with rectangular carved friezes depicting foliate motif to the shoulder where the leg connects to the carved and finished exposed wood seat frame. The chairs all with squared backs with exposed wood side and top rails.
The chairs are fabulously embellished with hand caning to each seat and seat back. The seats and seat backs both have double hand caned for structural support.
37 1/4"H x 19"W x 16 1/4"D of seat, 17 1/2"H to seat
Condition: One chair has a torn hand caned seat which is covered by the un matched seat cusihons that accompany this lot but if going to be used will need to be repaired. Other wear includes negligible surface scuffs and scratches to the chairs but overall the set is wonderful.
