Wonderful antique set of 2 framed and glazed color engravings.
The first of series: Mr. Charles Davies on "The Traverser" Depicting a portrait of a man in riding dress with a jockey's cap, seen in profile to the left on horseback. Holding a whip and the reings in his right hand with his left hand on his hip. the equestrian is seen in the English country side in a field, with three hounds standing and sitting nearby and a castle seen off in the distance.

The second titled Mr. William Long On Bertha
Depicting an equestrian Mr. Long seen from the right on his mount with three hounds patiently waiting and a wonderful rolling English country landscape in the background.

Both prints are displayed on mats and set in frames.

Condition: There is some foxing and mold to the edges of the printed paper along with browning often consistent with age of 19th century prints. These could surely be de monted and properly restored and even re matted with new acid free mats. However they have been displayed in such a way that for 19th century prints they are in rather good condition and present fabulously!
