This wonderful Sara Amatniek print titled "Two Teasels" depicts two wildflowers growing next to one another. There is a biographical excerpt of the artist taped to the reverse which can be read in the lot images. Briefly it describes the artist-printmaker as a life long New Yorker, whom uses graphics to combine a variety of printmaking techniques throughout her ouevre. The artist earned a B.A. at Brooklyn College and an M.A. at Columbia University where she painted at the American Artists School and later became interested in print-making, attended Pratt Graphics Center. The work appears to have been purchased at an Armonk Art Show in October of 1988 according to a card affixed on verso.
The work is titled, numbered and signed in pencil: "Two Teasels", 32/200, S.Amatniek"
Presented on a mat and framed.

Condition: There is some light spotting around the edges which could likely be re matted and framed but overall has a wonderful presentation.
