Item Description
Rolex Date. This magnificent vintage Rolex Date is model 1505, a 34 mm watch with a stainless steel case, yellow gold engine turned fluted bezel, dark champagne/light brown dial with stick markers, and a date.
The 1505 has an automatic, non quickset movement, which means that in order to set the date, you must unscrew the crown and bring the time around continuously (this changes the date manually), until you reach the day before your desired date - at which point youw will move the hands until the time passes midnight, when correct date will appear in the window. You will then bring the hands to the current am/pm and time.
The watch is displayed on a vintage steel and gold 6252H 14 rolled jubilee bracelet, and has 24 links and a foldover clasp, which features seven adjustment settings

Condition: NIcks and scratches to the acrylic crystal, dial has fading and wear spots at markers, hands are corroding, scratches to the watch, bracelet is stretched, watch is running but the movement has not been looked at so the assumption is that it is original to the watch (not confirmed) and in need of service.
