A rare and historically exceptional nine panel American Industrial mural by renown illustrator Robert L. Lambdin, a highly active form member of the National Society of Mural Painters and the Society of Illustrators.

Originally from Kansas and Colorado, Lambdin came to New York City in 1917. He freelanced and illustrated for nearly all major magazines of the day and took on commercial advertising commissions as well as illustrating many books.

He later moved with his wife to Westport, Ct. and under the Federal Arts Project, painted a mural titled "The Spirit of Adventure" for the Bedford Elementary School in Westport, Ct. and for the Bridgeport, Ct. Post Office.

In 1942, Lambdin was hired by the Bridgeport Brass Company to paint murals covering the theme "Brass Through the Ages" in which there are nine panels. The panels depict the milling of steel and brass while demonstrating flashing,
smelting, rolling and stamping of metals.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to purchase these nine original mural panels that once graced the walls of the Bridgeport Brass Company.

The panels measure 93" high and 46 1/2" wide each. The canvases purposely mounted to curved wooden panels to
achieve a "surround" effect.
