The painting with it's shellac accentuates the natural wood grain with fields of color including blue, yellow and red.
Purchased from "The Lazy Bear Gallery" for $950
Bearing an advertisement card for the artist's work which states:
"In these shellac paintings Robert has created an art form in which the canvas is as important to the composition as the colors. The panel painting has great three dimensionality which appears to hover in front of the wall due to the manner in which it is hung. A wire is hung horizontally across the back for ease of hanging.
