Robert Graham (Mexican, b. 1938) is primarily known as an American sculptor and this pencil drawing has an almost sculpturesque quality to it. Predominantly creating works depicting the human form, this wonderful pencil on paper drawing depicts a nude female seen lying on her back with her legs leaned on one another and her face slightly lifted giving it a wonderful three dimensionality to it. With a double line surrounding the edge of the page the work can mistake for a print but is in fact pencil.
