Item Description
Regency style rosewood sofa table with a rectangular top adorned with fine brass inlays and featuring two hinged drop flaps at either end, allowing for expanded surface area when needed. These flaps are supported by two brackets on each side ensuring stability. At the front, two easy flowing frieze drawers separated by solid panels. The back of the table features matching dummy drawers, allowing the piece to be freestanding and finished on all sides.
The table is raised up on a tapering rectangular column, gracefully adorned with delicately carved gadrooned details and brass inlay. This central support leads to a quadriform base, where four outswept legs extend outward and finished with a brass lion’s paw cup caster.
