Plenty's Horn hand painted 3 drawer dresser with mirror. The dresser with an overhanging top above 3 long drawers with painted leaf and vine decoration and having turned pulls embellished with polka dots. The shaped apron decorated with charming blue birds. Flanked by hand painted side panels and raised on polka dot bun feet. All on an ivory crackle ground with red, blue, orange, green and yellow trim. The mirror with a shaped frame in a yellow crackle ground with blue and white checkerboard together with red and white polka dot trim. From the 'Carrot Collection'.
Plenty's Horn is based In the small East Texas town Pittsburg, Created by artist Jan Williamson in concert with a furniture maker. They were quickly recognized by Neiman Marcus and immediately placed in its catalogs and stores.
Condition: Expected signs of use including scuffs and marks to top, loss, rubbing and wear to painted finish, bottom right pull needs tightening. Drawers do not slide in and out easily and need some TLC. Still a very charming set.
