Paul Petit (French, 1920–2009). He was a self-taught landscape and marine painter who spent his life in Saint-Valery-sur-Somme, using the wild coastal landscapes and fishing harbors of the Somme Bay as his primary inspiration.
The lithograph depicts a serene coastal landscape featuring fishing boats moored next to a wooden pier or dock at low tide.
Presented in the original weighty mid century wood frame with brass decoration and the Collector's Guild authentication label on verso. The work with a blue mat and glazed.
Pencil signed lower right.
