Peter Hunt (Frederick Lowe Schnitzer, American, 1896-1967) signed folk art hand painted tray with a rectangular form and rounded edges a long a raised trim featuring a pair of dapper ladies enjoying a beverage with garden imagery surrounding and “ Toujours gai” (“Always cheerful” in French). Decorated in overall hues of red and green. Signed and dated right side ‘65.
Condition: In overall good condition with expected signs of age and wear including some discoloration along the right and left side of composition but is wholly unnoticeable compared to the detailed imagery.
Measures: 9”l x 14 1/4”w x 1/2”h
