Charming pair of vintage Italian art glass clown figures, each hand-crafted with vibrant multicolored glass and expressive theatrical styling. The duo features one clown holding an accordion and a companion clown posed with a decorative umbrella, both executed with elaborate applied glass details including sculpted hair, oversized bow ties, expressive facial features, and richly swirled bodies accented with emerald-green buttons.
A surviving foil label reading "Made in Murano, Italy" supports Murano origin, adding collectible appeal. These whimsical figures exemplify the playful decorative art glass produced by Venetian workshops during the mid-20th century and remain highly sought after by collectors of Murano glass, Italian decorative arts, and circus-themed sculpture.
