Item Description
Louis XVI style fauteuils carved and painted in ecru. With carved ribbon frames overall. The shaped backs with carved floral crests and beaded inner frames. The arms with carved acanthus leaves on the ends and on the beaded curved supports. Raised on fluted round tapering legs in front and plain tapering round back legs. Upholstered on the front, manches and seat in an elegant pale green and ecru damask. The back in a green oval floral pattern. The finishes intentionally worn. .
H. 41 1/2", W. 24 1/2", Depth 21", seat H. 18"
Condition: Overall condition is very good with gouges with losses along one back lower frame rail (see photos) and expected wear to arm ends, the pair presenting very well.
