Item Description
With a comedic flair these vintage prints bear publishing information in the lower right corner which reads "Copyright, 1900, By Life Publishing Co."
One depicts a woman wearing a ball gown with her maid in a well decorated interior. The work bears the title underneath which reads "Matrimonial Misfits. / The Woman Who Marries A Club Man." while the second depicts a group of men standing behind a stout gentleman with a young woman standing at the edge of another pier plank.
The work is titled "The Stout Gentleman Hoped He Had Found A Secluded Spot For The Honeymoon."
Presented in natural finished wood frames and glazed with glass.
Sight: 10 7/8"H x 16 1/4"W
Frame: 15 7/8"H x 21 1/4"W
Condition: There is a stain spot on the Matrimonial Misfits print at the bottom edge approximately 2 1/4"L. The prints do have age as do the handsome wood frames but overall they are fun and sure to please.
